Exhibition Highlights
Nippon Seiki Co., Ltd., an automotive components manufacturer celebrating its 80th anniversary, will exhibit at Automotive Engineering Exposition 2026.
The company develops and manufactures high-precision measurement and display devices, including meters for automobiles and motorcycles, various sensors, and HUDs (Head-Up Displays). Leveraging decades of experience and proprietary technologies, Nippon Seiki provides products that help realize safe and comfortable driving experiences.
Exhibits
mass-produced Meters
The development concept of Nippon Seiki’s meters is “Safer and more comfortable.”
As TFT-equipped meters have become mainstream, the amount and variety of displayed information have increased significantly. Based on this concept, we develop meters that are easy to read and clearly convey information, contributing to safer and more comfortable driving.
HUD (Head-Up Display)
Nippon Seiki’s HUDs are developed under the concept of “Making safety a given,” aiming to minimize driver eye movement and enable more reliable information recognition while driving.
A HUD projects information such as vehicle speed, navigation data, and ADAS alerts onto the area beyond the windshield, creating the impression that the information is floating ahead on the road. Because the display appears at a far focal distance, drivers can naturally check necessary information while keeping their eyes on the road.
High-Visibility Projector “LumiPATH”
The high-visibility LED projector LumiPATH incorporates advanced dustproof, waterproof, and durability designs cultivated through automotive instrument development, enabling stable projection even in outdoor environments exposed to rain, wind, and dust.
In addition to still images, LumiPATH supports animated displays for more intuitive guidance and warning communication. Reflecting feedback from construction and civil engineering companies, the unit volume has been reduced by approximately 30%, improving portability and ease of installation at worksites.
Sensors
For over 50 years, Nippon Seiki has developed and mass-produced sensor products for a wide range of mobility applications, including automobiles and motorcycles.
A key feature of our sensor business is product design that considers not only detection accuracy but also actual use in mass-production environments.
At Automotive Engineering Exposition 2026, we will exhibit highly robust resolver-replacement sensors and Hall IC liquid level sensors compatible with biofuels.
Circular TFT dual gauge cluster
To combine the sculptural value of analog meters with the functionality of TFT displays, we developed a dual circular TFT two-eye meter using two round TFT panels. This PoC (Proof of Concept) model verifies design harmony, high visibility, and future expandability.
NS Advantech Co., Ltd.
NS Advantech Co., Ltd., a member of the Nippon Seiki Group, mass-produces a wide range of products, mainly automotive and motorcycle components. The company manufactures meter components and HUD-related parts.
At the exhibition, NS Advantech will showcase HUD lenses with proven mass-production performance using high-precision molding technology, as well as four-wheel meter components manufactured through an integrated process from parts fabrication to final assembly.
Kyoei Engineering Co., Ltd.
Kyoei Engineering has established an integrated in-house production system covering development and design, precision machining for prototyping, mold manufacturing, injection molding, ultra-precision machining, microfabrication, and quality control.
This structure enables total support from early development stages through completion. At this exhibition, Kyoei Engineering will present its distinctive technologies in ultra-precision machining and microfabrication.
